The Autism Research Institute
Advancing Science and Education
To advance the health of autistic people through biomedical research and free education. Established in 1967 by psychologist and renowned father of modern autism research Dr. Bernard Rimland, ARI continues to pioneer in research, outreach, and cooperative efforts with other organizations worldwide. ARI advocates for the rights of autistic people and operates without funding from special-interest groups. ARI provides education and support for autistic individuals, parents and care providers, for clinicians, therapists and researchers.

Autistic Self Advocacy Network
ASAN is a national grassroots disability rights organization for the autistic community. We fight for disability rights. We work to make sure autistic people are included in policy-making, so that laws and policies meet our community's needs. We work to support all forms of self-advocacy and to change the way people think about autism. Our members and supporters include autistic adults and youth, cross-disability advocates, and non-autistic family members, professionals, educators, and friends.

Autism Spectrum News
ASN was developed to provide the autism community with a trusted source of evidence-based information and education, the latest in scientific research, clinical treatment best practices, family issues, advocacy, and vital community resources.
In keeping with the publication's evidence-based mission, the esteemed ASN Editorial Board will only accept articles and advertising offering science-based information and/or treatments proven safe and effective for autistic individuals.
